Mission

Transform your windows into integrated pieces of your room to create spaces that are evocative, inviting and inspiring through professional measure and installation.

“Why hire a professional window treatment installer?”

Whether you’re working with a Designer or Workroom or you’re a DIY-er, it’s important to know that a professional window treatment installer is very different from your typical handyman. A professional window treatment installer has a very different eye for details that others aren’t trained to see that will affect the outcome of your window’s look and perhaps… the health of your wall. Leave the Swiss cheese for sandwiches.

Window treatments are the most underestimated and misunderstood feature of a home or room. Everyone gets excited about how to decorate a room with furniture, rugs and trinkets… but windows tend to be an afterthought. For many, a surprisingly expensive afterthought. Windows are the most expensive piece of architecture in your home; yet dressing them rarely makes it into the moving, building, renovating or decorating budget. To dress windows appropriately, it is an investment that requires some strategy and craft to marry up one’s stylistic taste and goals for light or privacy control with your architecture. It’s also important to know how much of a star or not you want your window treatments to be. Even for the minimalist, window treatments are necessary to complete a look and improve the resale factor of your home. HRI can help guide you.

Product selection is key. Not every product is right for every window style and windows are rarely square, plumb or level, which can really affect the look or function of your window treatment. Know before you make the investment. Professional window treatment consultation, measure & installation ensures you get a quality product and and proper fit for your home or business to enjoy for years to come.

In an era with so many options and tempting budget prices in a very DIY market, there are just some things you shouldn’t cut corners on. A proper measure and professional installation are two of those things. You’re here because you want something better - something that doesn’t look like everything else, something that lasts longer, something that fits not only your windows but your lifestyle - you want quality products & quality knowledge with quality service. At HRI, we never sacrifice quality for time or money and only represent products we’d use in our own home. Quality isn’t only about what we do but how we do it and who we do it with. We’re proud of the relationships we’ve formed from suppliers, workrooms, iron forgers and designers to offer a unique selection of customer drapery hardware that you can’t find online or in any store.

measure & installation services

HRI’s Measure & Installation Services are available as stand-alone services. Getting a professional measure is like taking out an insurance policy on your window treatments. Measuring involves more than just reading a measuring tape and jotting down widths and lengths. It requires niche knowledge about product fit and functionality as well as window construction.

HRI’s Hunter Douglas Certified Installer also specializes in custom drapery, stationary panels, shades, blinds and top treatments (sorry, no shutters).
